A Year of Prayer
A Lifetime of Praying

Prayer is an important part of the lives of God’s faithful people in the Northern Great Lakes Synod. Synod prayer ministry now includes our own prayer website that features daily devotions written by clergy and lay people; a monthly prayer calendar lifting up the various congregations, pastors, and groups within the synod, as well as our brothers and sisters in the Delaware / Maryland Synod; prayer resources; book reviews; and suggestions for prayer activities in your congregation. The ministry also has a prayer network of individuals who pray for others across our synod as the need arises.

 

You, too, can be a part of this vital prayer ministry in our Synod. We need individuals to be “pray-ers” in the prayer network. These individuals are contacted either by e-mail or “snail mail” with the various prayer requests. We also need individuals (or get a group of your friends together) to write devotions for a one-week period (7 days). Share your gifts of time, prayer, or writing!
