Welcome to the web site of the Northern Great Lakes Synod. The people of our 94 congregations greet you! Lutheran Christians have lived in these woods, communities and along these lakes for over one hundred years. A diverse group of people, we are now walking together into a new century convinced that God is at work in our lives. We worship God and give thanks for the hope that Jesus Christ brings us. As people of faith we tell the story of God's love to our communities and to the whole world.
